Citroen C3 Aircross 2019 pricing and specs confirmed

Citroen has a new small SUV.

Citroen Australia has launched and priced the C3 Aircross, which is the first product in a new wave of product for the brand locally. 

Priced from $32,990 plus on-road costs, the C3 Aircross competes with other small SUVs including the Mazda CX-3, Honda HR-V, Hyundai Kona and Toyota C-HR.

Just one variant is available for the moment, which is powered by an 81kW/205Nm 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard equipment, while Citroen claims combined fuel consumption of 5.6L/100km

Standard equipment on the C3 Aircross includes city speed AEB, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, auto high beam, a colour head-up display, 17-inch alloy wheels, a 7.0-inch multimedia screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, inbuilt satellite navigation, climate control, auto headlights and wipers and LED daytime running lights.

Measuring 4154mm long, 1637mm tall and 1756mm wide, the C3 Aircross is 121mm shorter than a Mazda CX-3, yet offers a 146 more litres of bootspace at 410-litres. Folding the seats down opens up 1298L. 

Citroen offers just white as a standard colour, while five others are available, each with contrasting highlights, for $590. For now, paint choice is the only option Citroen offers, though is open to offering more in the future.
