The Nissan Altima mid-sized sedan sold in Australia between 2014 and 2017, with the local arm of the company quietly dropping the four-door five-seater thanks to it's incompatibility with tightening emissions regulations.
The car never found traction in Australia, with just over 4500 sales over its almost four years on the Australia. Toyota's Camry recorded the same number of sales in a single month. The range started from the Altima ST at $23,100 and went up to the Altima Ti-S at $41,250.
The axing came despite the fact the Altima - the brand's only mid-sized sedan - formed the basis of Nissan's Supercars racing efforts, which were set to continue until the end of the 2018 Supercars season.
