Isuzu D-Max X-Runner 2019 revealed

Isuzu has revealed a fresh iteration of its long-running line of limited-edition D-Max utes, the X-Runner.

Based on the top-spec LS-T Crew Cab 4x4, the X-Runner is limited to 645 units, available in only 'Pearl White' or 'Magnetic Red'.

The X-Runner is priced at $54,990 drive-away (a modest increase over the LS-T) and includes unique X-Runner trim consisting of unique scuff plates, contrasting red interior trim, model-specific 18-inch alloy wheels, power adjustable driver's seat, red Isuzu badging inside and out, a satin black sports bar and an under-rail Isuzu tub liner. The X-Runner also gains rear parking sensors to compliment the standard reversing camera.

Other standard features the X-Runner shares with its LS-T donor car include 255/60R18 Toyo Open Country Highway Terrain tyres, push-start ignition and an 8.0-inch multimedia touchscreen with built-in sat-nav.

Power figures from the D-Max's 3.0-litre turbo diesel engine remain unchanged at 130kW/430Nm giving the X-Runner a 3.5 tonne braked towing capacity (with the tow bar kit, a $903.10 option). All D-Maxes come standard with Trailer Sway Control.

It includes unique X-Runner trim consisting of unique scuff plates and contrasting red interior trim.

Now optionally available on the D-Max range is a front parking sensor kit, priced at $545.

All D-Max models - including the X-Runner - are covered by Isuzu's updated six-year/150,000km warranty and roadside assistance plan as well as a seven-year/105,000km fixed-price servicing plan.

The X-Runner has a satin black sports bar and an under-rail Isuzu tub liner.
