Lexus winner entered on a whim
The winner of Carsguide's Car of the Motor Show competition is now the proud owner of a Lexus CT200h.
But his decision to enter the Carsguide Car of the Motor Show competition certainly paid off.
The Victorian man is now driving a new Lexus CT200h hybrid valued at more than $47,000 and admits he is quickly settling in to the leather-trimmed luxury.
“We were at the show on the last day and we were leaving as they were closing up when my wife noticed a poster for the competition,” he said
I’m not the type of person to enter competitions but she convinced me to and I filled out the form and promptly forgot about it until I got the call saying we’d won.
“I thought it was a practical joke at first … it wasn’t until I saw it published on CarsGuide.com.au that I knew it was for real.
He picked up his CT200h from Lexus of Blackburn in Melbourne last week and expects to spend plenty of time in the car.
“I drive about two hours a day for work so I’m sure I’ll come to appreciate just how good the Lexus is,” he said.
