Red-hot new luxury SUV revealed: 2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS brings V8 performance and plenty of speed to rival the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE
A potent new Porsche Cayenne GTS SUV and Coupe are headed to Australia in the second half of this year.
The Cayenne GTS promises brutal performance with its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine delivering 368KW and 660Nm, which is a jump of 30kW and 40Nm over the previous version.
This is matched to an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels.

Porsche claims the Cayenne GTS can complete the benchmark 0-100km/h sprint in 4.4 seconds on the way to a top speed of 275km/h.
In the local range those numbers put the Cayenne GTS above the more powerful but slower Cayenne S E-Hybrid.
It can’t compete with the range-topping Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid that makes a whopping 544kW and 950Nm from its V8 and plug-in hybrid combo. The Turbo E-Hybrid can rocket from 0-100km/h in 3.7 seconds.
The Cayenne GTS SUV will be priced from $209,600 (before on-road costs) when it arrives in the third quarter of this year and the Coupe variant is $3000 more.
Porsche has added plenty of other goodies to boost the car’s character including adaptive air suspension that allows for different driving modes to match conditions.
The Stuttgart-based maker says other hardware changes give the Cayenne agile cornering and handling ability.
The Cayenne GTS scores black “GTS” lettering badges on the side and rear, bigger cooling intakes up front and red brake callipers.
It rides on big 21-inch alloy wheels and it features dark bronze sports exhaust tailpipes.
Inside, the Cayenne GTS has a luxe fit-out with synthetic suede fabric covering the roof, armrests and door panels. The power adjustable sports seats are wrapped in synthetic suede and leather and it comes with a heated steering wheel as standard.
It also includes ambient interior lighting, a premium Bose stereo, head-up display and the SUV variant has a panoramic sunroof.
