Return of a classic name? Fiat 600 appears undisguised in Europe, will the small SUV come to Australia to take on the Hyundai Venue?

Shooting for promotional material means the 600 has been seen completely undisguised.
A classic badge is on its way back from Italian brand Fiat as the bigger sibling to the Fiat 500 hatch, and it has been spotted in Europe.
Images posted by prolific spy photo account @cochespias1 show the (very) compact SUV getting around undisguised, with some fairly traditional Fiat styling cues on display.
The reason for the 600 being out in open daylight with no camouflage is also seen in one of the photos posted - a camera-rigged car drives ahead of the SUV, meaning Fiat is shooting promotional footage or photography of the model ahead of its reveal.

Perhaps most importantly, however, is the headlight styling for the 600 that appears to have the compact crossover wearing wing-tip eyeliner makeup. Milan fashion week isn’t until September!
Reports from Europe expect the 600 to be based on the same platform as the likes of the Peugeot e-2008, the electric Common Modular Platform (eCMP), with a 50kWh battery and a single motor and an output of - if similar to the Pug - around 100kW.
The Fiat 600 badge was previously applied to a larger (and actually earlier) sibling to the Fiat 500, with the 600 being sold from the mid-’50s to the end of the 1960s.
For Australia, it’s not clear whether the 600 will come to our shores, nor will it be, at least until the model is officially announced by the brand.
