Lotus Eletre

The iconic Chinese-owned British brand revealed its first-ever luxury SUV as well as its first vehicle produced in China in 2022.

The Eletre is a fully-electric crossover SUV, another first for a brand which gave us a long, decorated history of two-door sports coupes.

The Eletre stays true to some of its heritage, embracing the coupe design which was conceived in its UK headquarters, although it is very much a new era for Lotus who plan on establishing themselves as a premium luxury brand.

The line-up currently starts at $189,990 for the Eletre (base) and ranges through to $279,990 for the range-topping Eletre R.

Lotus Eletre Interior

The Lotus Eletre is a more premium model for the brand and that shines through in the cabin, with the model we were testing finished in grey leather and Alcantra with gold highlights. Which, along with the fact there’s leather and carpet inside, makes this feel more polished and luxurious than any previous Lotus.
