Mazda 3 2007 FAQs

Check out real-world situations relating to the Mazda 3 2007 here, particularly what our experts have to say about them.

  • Best first car options?

Do not buy a Cruze, or buy a European brand. They will prove costly. It's best to go for the cars that are well proven over many years. The Lancer is a good one, but so too is the Toyota Yaris or Corolla, Suzuki Swift, Mazda2 or 3, or Mitsubishi Colt.

  • What's a good $10,000 used car?

Bite the bullet, use all your budget, and get a Mazda3. Corolla prices are inflated by the Toyota badge but the Mazda3 is a great little car in all ways.

  • Mazda 3 2007: Brake problems

Yours is the first report we've had directly from an owner, but we have heard of other instances of brake failure on the Mazda3. I would contact Mazda directly and put a case to them for at least part compensation for the repairs. You could possibly try getting the replacement part from overseas via the internet; it's generally much cheaper that way, even with genuine factory parts.
