Actyon surging during cruise

Asked by Petrina Gilligan

My new Ssangyong Actyon will surge mildly when travelling at up to 80 km/h. It doesn't do it when you accelerate, more when you are just cruising. The ESP light has come on twice, just for a second. I have spoken with the dealership but they are not sure what it could be. Any ideas?

If it does it consistently the dealer should be able to trace the cause quite easily and rectify the problem. If it doesn’t happen all the time it might be a little more difficult, but they should be able to check for a fault using their diagnostic equipment and hopefully find out what is going on.
