I have a question about the new Astra price cuts and the refund for people who bought at the launch price. Do you know if it is up to the dealer to refund the difference or will Holden be sending refunds direct to customers? My niece picked up her new Astra a few days ago and the dealer tried to fob her off with a couple of free service vouchers. I contacted Holden Customer Care a few days ago but haven't heard back yet. I was hoping you might know how it's supposed to work, so I can be properly informed for when they do make contact. Her car is an Astra R auto, so from what I've read she is due $1700.

31 Jan 2017Our enquiries with Holden weren't successful; all we got was a deafening silence. It seems they either don't know how it will work, or aren't prepared to tell us. Given the company's reluctance to talk on this matter I suggest you maintain pressure on the customer care people until they give you an answer.
