Can you recommend a medium-sized SUV around $35,000?

If you had a budget of $35,000 and were looking at the medium size SUV category what would you recommend for a family of four and why? It would be used for driving to school and shops, etc., but also on lots of day trips to the country. I wouldn’t be taking it off road.

14 Jan 2017First off, as you aren’t planning to go off-road I would suggest you buy a two-wheel drive model rather than a four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. That way you won’t be carrying around the extra weight of the all-wheel drive system and you won’t have the complexity of the all-wheel drive system, which means there’s less to go wrong. One I would look at is the front-wheel drive Kia Sportage.
