Hit and miss?
Asked by Frank van der Mei
AFTER reading about your reader's problem with a miss in his Mazda MX-5 (carsGuide, November 27) I thought you might be interested in my son's experience with the same problem in his 1999 MX-5. He replaced the spark plugs, the plug leads and the coil pack without any success, but was told it was a common problem likely to be caused by a faulty connection in the air flow meter. Hope this helps.
