I HAVE a tidy 1986 Honda City Turbo 1500, but the engine fluctuates from 800rpm to 1500rpm when idling. We have checked and changed all vacuum hoses. Honda say they can't help because the car is an import. Any help you can give on this would be appreciated.

28 Jul 2005YOU'VE run into one of the problems of buying an import without local support. You really need to find a Honda expert to help you with this one, and I would suggest you try Adam Kovarik of In-N-Out Motors. He did his time on Hondas and has an extensive knowledge of them. He can be reached on 9544 9986.
