Isuzu D-Max: Engine won't rev

Asked by Chota Ngulube

My Isuzu D-Max starts and the engine runs very well, but it can't rev. The machine detected a faulty throttle position sensor, which I replaced with a new one, but it failed again. What could be the problem?

It would suggest it wasn’t the throttle position sensor that was faulty, but it could be a connector to the sensor that has caused the problem. If that isn’t the problem look elsewhere, and I would suggest the crank angle sensor.
