Best fuel for pensioner

Asked by Lois Harwood

I'VE had the motor done up, and a new transmission put in my 1981 Toyota Celica. As a pensioner I can't afford to update my car, but it's in excellent condition. Can I use United Unleaded Plus in my car? At the moment I am using unleaded with the additive.

YES, the RA60 Celica should run satisfactorily on unleaded without an additive, though I would run it on high octane unleaded petrol because your car will have a relatively high compression ratio and may ping on regular unleaded.
