So, you’re lucky enough to finally have your new Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series in your driveway, but you’re wondering what to do next. Well, if off-roading is your thing, then you might consider some accessories, such as those from Japanese automotive parts specialist Jaos.
Of course, aftermarket upgrades for the LC300 have flooded the market since production of the new upper-large SUV started last year, but the suite offered by Jaos is arguably the most subtle but purposeful yet.
In fact, such is the tight integration of the Jaos accessories, they could be mistaken for coming straight from the Toyota factory. For example, the front bumper insert seen here looks original, as it mimics the design of the LC300’s grille.

Then there’s the black fender flares, side sills, doorhandle protectors and rear bumper trim, with the latter positioned above a Battle Z ZS-2 exhaust system with dual chrome tailpipes.
But let’s not forget the matte-gunmetal 20-inch Tribe Cross alloy wheels wrapped in chunky 285/55 Toyo Open Country R/T tyres, and the Battle Z lift kit with Ti-W coil springs. Yep, this LC300 has 40mm-higher ground clearance, at 235mm.
Finally, there’s a set of branded mud flaps and a roof rack with five LED lights for superior load-carrying ability and visibility off the beaten track.
So, what about the LC300’s twin-turbo V6 engines? Well, the 227kW 3.3-litre diesel Australia gets and the 305kW 3.5-litre petrol available overseas have been left untouched alongside their shared 10-speed torque-converter automatic transmission.
The Jaos website currently lists only a few of the aforementioned accessories, but the missing ones are expected to become available in the near future, so stay tuned.
That said, Australian buyers will need to import the accessories from Japan and get them fitted locally, which will likely add to the cost.
