Club Spec is back! 2024 Subaru WRX adds iconic model to line-up in limited numbers, with range pricing and specs updated

A 1990s Subaru favourite is back to lead the 2024 WRX range as pricing is confirmed for the Club Spec variant along with changes to other grades.

Available in a limited run of 150 units, the 2024 Subaru WRX Club Spec starts from $52,590, before on-road costs, bringing with it some performance upgrades in areas other than the drivetrain, plus stand-out styling changes.

Additionally, the rest of the Subaru WRX range has seen some minor updates, with pricing changes for some variants like the base model, which is now $1500 more expensive, at $47,490.

Aside from the addition of the Club Spec, 2024 WRXs now come with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the brand's 'EyeSight' suite of active and passive safety features plus new colours and a 10-speaker Harman Kardon sound system for Sportwagon variants.

Different variants have changed pricing to varying degrees, as outlined in the table below.

The 150 Club Specs are differentiated by their STI-style rear wings, matt grey paint, 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza S007 tyres, plus six-piston front and two-piston rear Brembo brakes on ventilated and drilled discs, "specifically tuned steering and suspension" and inside, Recaro sports seats in the front.

The rest of the range is equipped with a continuously variable transmission, or CVT - the Subaru-specific branding for this is 'Lineartronic'.

All variants of the WRX retain the brand's 2.4-litre turbocharged 'flat' four-cylinder engine, which outputs 202kW and 350Nm to all four wheels (as is Subaru tradition).
