New Kia Stinger 2020 pricing and spec detailed: Night Sky special edition introduced
Kia Australia has introduced a new variant to its Stinger performance sedan range dubbed Night Sky, priced at $63,500 before on-road costs.
Based on the six-cylinder GT, the Night Sky is powered the same 272kW/510Nm 3.3-litre twin-turbocharged V6, which sends drive to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission, but is $710 pricier than the donor car.
For the extra spend though, the Night Sky gains a light grey Nappa leather interior and bimodal exhaust.
Exterior colours available include ‘Mirco Blue’, ‘Deep Chroma Blue’ and ‘Aurora Black Pearl’, while standard equipment carries over as before, which includes three-mode adaptive suspension, heated and cooled front seats, 19-inch wheels, Brembo brakes, limited-slip differential, head-up display, keyless entry, push-button start, dual-zone climate control and wireless smartphone charger.
An 8.0-inch multimedia system is also included, which bundles satellite navigation, digital radio and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, as is a performance data readout.
Safety gear includes a surround-view monitor, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic LED headlights, autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control and reversing camera.
The Night Sky also sits $1290 below the GT Carbon Edition introduced last year, which adds carbon-finished hood vents, grille surround, side mirrors and rear diffuser, as well as an Alcantara steering wheel.
