Lexus Australia has released a special-edition version of its IS mid-size sedan, dubbed Black Line.
The Black Line is offered in IS300 and IS350 forms, limited to 105 and 45 units and priced from $69,707 and $75,522 plus on-road costs respectively.
As such, the Black Line commands a $3000 premium over the F Sport grade it is based upon, although it does come with metallic paintwork as standard (it’s usually a $1500 option).
Unique features include a black ‘spindle’ grille insert, black 18-inch alloy wheels, black side-mirror caps and puddle lights, while there are four metallic paintwork options to choose between: White Nova, Liquid Metal, Graphite Black and Cobalt Mica.
Inside, bespoke black leather upholstery with light grey accents and blue-grey stitching, and Indigo wood trim feature.

The IS300 variant is powered by a 180kW/350Nm 2.0-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine, while the IS350 upgrades to a 232kW/380Nm 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V6 petrol unit.
Standard equipment in the Black Line otherwise includes adaptive suspension, bi-LED headlights, a 10.3-inch multimedia system, satellite navigation, digital radio, a 10-speaker sound system, power-adjustable front sports seats with heating and cooling, a power-adjustable steering column and dual-zone climate control.

Lexus Australia offers the IS300 version with a $4000 Enhancement Pack that bundles in a sunroof and a 15-speaker Mark Levinson sound system. The former can be individually optioned for $2500 in its IS350 counterpart, which comes with the latter as standard.
