Hyundai i30 2017 review
Hyundai isn't mucking around with its third-generation i30. At all. The small hatch was the third most popular car with Aussies in 2016, and the company wants to keep the faith with the new car.

The VTi-LX ($33,590) sits at the very top of the Civic family tree, above the RS, VTi-L, VTi-S and VTi in the five-strong line-up.
The most expensive Civic will understandably include the best kit, including the 17-inch alloys, fog lights, leather-trimmed seats (heated in the front) and improved 10-speaker stereo as the RS model, but adding standard satellite navigation and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
Under the bonnet is the better of the range's two engines, a 1.5-litre turbocharged unit that will send 127kW at 5500rpm and 220Nm at 1700rpm to the front wheels via a CVT automatic transmission.
It's by far the strongest safety player, too, adding Honda's 'Sensing Suite' to the standard features list, which includes AEB, lane departure warning with lane keep assist and adaptive cruise, all of which join six airbags, a reversing camera and front and rear parking sensors.
