The Turbo sits in the middle of a line-up of three grades in the Veloster range and starts at $35,490 for the manual gearbox variant and steps up to $38,490 for dual-clutch automatic.
Powering the Turbo is a 150kW/265Nm 1.6-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine. Hyundai says consumption will be 7.3L/100km with the manual gearbox and 6.9L/100km with the dual-clutch after a combination of open and urban driving.
Standard features include an 8.0-inch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, eight-speaker Infinity sound system, proximity unlocking, LED headlights, sat nav, digital performance gauges, digital radio and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres on 18-inch alloys.
