Toyota Corolla 2017 review
The Toyota Corolla. A small car that's been part of our local landscape since 1967. Not many cars can come close to making a claim like that. So how does the latest incarnation shape up?

The S is the entry point to the slimmed-down Kia Cerato range, kicking off from $19,990 (manual) and stretching to $22,290 (automatic).
That money buys you 16-inch steel wheels, heated wing mirrors and keyless entry. Inside, you’ll find cloth seats, manual air conditioning, power windows and cruise control. You do miss out on a touchscreen though, instead getting a letterbox-screened CD player that pairs with six speakers.
Under the bonnet lurks a refreshingly powerful 2.0-litre, four-cylinder unit good for 112kW and 192Nm pairing with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic, and sending its power to the front wheels.
Safety is covered by six airbags (dual front, front-side and curtain), parking sensors front and rear and fog lights, but there is no reversing camera or AEB at this price point
