Genesis GV60 2023 Interior
The GV60 is roughly the same size as its Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5 siblings and because it's missing bits you might see in a petrol car like a transmission tunnel, there is plenty of usable space inside.
There's a feeling of sitting up high in the GV60 and that is amplified by the slabby, upright dash.
All controls are clear and easy to identify and the leather two-spoke steering wheel is quite chunky in your hand.
The multimedia system is top-notch and despite being very modern is quite easy to use. Likewise the digital instrument cluster is crisp and clear and even when using the augmented reality sat-nav it doesn't overwhelm the driver.Â
There's ample head and legroom in the second row although there's no toe room under the front seats.Â

Genesis GV60 2023 Boot Space
Once you open the hands-free power tailgate, you're met with a decent sized boot - if not class leading - offering 432 litres of cargo space, which is 80L less than a BMW iX3 and 50L less than a Kia EV6. Fold the 60/40 split-fold seats and it expands to 1406L. There’s some under-floor storage that is dedicated to storing charging cables, and there is no spare wheel - just a tyre repair kit.

The GV60 AWD covers 0-100km/h in 5.5 seconds. The Performance AWD does 0-100km/h in 4.0 seconds, which is a little over a second quicker than the Kia EV6 GT-Line AWD.Â

Standard equipment on both GV60 grades includes heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, heated outboard second-row seats, 18-way power adjustable driver’s seat with a massage function, a panoramic sunroof,  hands-free power tailgate, rain-sensing wipers, and dual-zone climate control.
It also features tech gear like wireless smartphone charger, a 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 12.3-inch multimedia system featuring satellite navigation with augmented reality, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto - but it's not wireless.

Genesis GV60 2023 Seats
The GV60 is a five-seat SUV and the front seats are power adjustable - 14-way for the driver and 12-way for the front passenger. All grades come with a massage function that can be set to kick in while you’re driving. They are trimmed in quilted Nappa leather.
The reclinable rear seats fold 60/40 with a fold-down armrest in the centre. The outboard rear seats have ISOFIX points and there are three top tether points.
