Wind causing too much noise in 2016 Mazda CX-3

Answered by CarsGuide 28 Aug 2017

I am not aware of a wind noise problem related to the fitting of weather shields. Were they Mazda weather shields, or were they aftermarket items? If your Mazda dealer supplied them, go back and tell them of your concern and ask them to fix it.

How does Suzuki Vitara compare to rivals?

Answered by CarsGuide 5 Sep 2016

The new Suzuki is pretty good, apart from the constantly variable transmission, and gets The Tick. But you should also test drive the Mazda CX-3, which tops the class, or the Honda HR-V if you need more space in the back.

What's a good SUV that's easy to get into?

The CX-3 is the best in the baby class and gets The Tick. It’s not great for value and could be a bit small. You should also check the latest Subaru Forester, which is much improved.

What's the best: Toyota Corolla, Mazda 3, or Mazda CX-3?

Answered by CarsGuide 19 Feb 2016

So many options. It's great to hear that you have had such a good run out of your Corolla, and that you would happy with another one. The Corolla is certainly a good option. So too is the Mazda 3, which would satisfy all of your needs. Both cars would be good choices. The Mazda CX-3 is a different car in that it is an SUV and gives you the advantages of a high driving position for good visibility and the flexibility of a wagon style body. It too would be good option, and I would suggest that you had a test drive of it to see if does what you want. All three are well built, reliable and I would expect them to give you many years of good service.

Replacing a Liberty with a similar SUV?

Answered by CarsGuide 8 Feb 2016

The XV will be fine around town but is very small in the boot, and the same goes for the CX-3. If you want a similar cabin and boot space to the Liberty then go for the CX-5, but also have a look at the new Kia Sportage.

The CX-3 is best in its class and gets The Tick but it is significantly smaller than your Corolla. If you're not carrying lots of grandchildren or big loads it should be fine.

CX-3 too pricey?

Answered by CarsGuide 6 Jul 2015

The starting price of the CX-3 is cheaper than its rivals at $19,990, so it should not be as expensive as you think. Of your other three, the S-Cross is boring but the only one I would remotely recommend.
