The Toyota HiLux continues to dominate the Australian sales charts, but expect a surge in interest as the EOFY approaches.

Despite what's happening outside, there are still great deals going on in car dealerships around the country and, as a ute-loving nation, it would be remiss of us to ignore the offers available today.

Dealers are keen to sell and carmakers are helping with discounts, putting buyers literally in the driving seat. It doesn't matter if you want it for work or play or the family – or all three – here's some of the best dual-cab ute offers available now in the lead up to the end of the financial year.

How to get your car trade-in ready this EOFY

Ford Ranger

The Ranger Sport 4x4 dual-cab auto is now $49,490 drive away.

Ford has skimmed up to a huge $7000 off some of its Ranger utes as part of its EOFY sale. All are recently upgraded models so they’re fresh and have the latest features with most having the 3.2-litre five-cylinder turbo-diesel engine.

The Ranger Sport 4x4 dual-cab auto is now $49,490 drive away, a saving of about $4700 while the XLS dual-cab is $46,490, a saving of about $6800. More upmarket 4x4 auto variants with the 3.2-litre engine are the XLT at $54,990, saving about $5300; the FX4 at $57,990; and the Wildtrak at $64,990, saving about $4000.

Toyota is offering deals on its highest-selling model, the HiLux, that will save buyers thousands. Any saving on a HiLux is not to be sneezed at, especially as the ute has such a strong resale value and an unbeatable service and parts back up that covers the country.

The feature-packed SR is now $46,990 drive-away for the dual-cab 4x4 automatic diesel, a saving of $8249 or 14.9 per cent.

The flagship SR5 dual-cab 4x4 with automatic transmission is $53,990, saving 15 per cent or $9475 as part of the June deals.

Buyers can also snag the Rugged for $56,990, while the Rogue and Rugged X are at a discounted $61,990 and $62,990 drive-away respectively.

Mitsubishi Triton

Mitsubishi's latest Triton ute is also on the discount block.

The Triton GLX 4x4 dual-cab with automatic transmission is now going for $38,490 drive-away –saving a huge $7151 – with the added incentives of a seven-year/150,000km warranty and a $1500 factory bonus.

The same incentives are also on the GLX manual 4x4 that is now $37,240 drive-away, a reduction of $4376.

Those that want something towards the top-end can splash out for the Triton GSR 4x4 dual-cab auto, available with a soft- or roll-top/hard tonneau pack for $52,990 and $54,990 respectively.

Mazda BT-50

Top-line Boss in 4x4 dual-cab with automatic transmission is now $53,990 drive away.

With Mazda readying a new BT-50, it's no surprise the current model is being discounted, and thrifty buyers can save a bundle.

The more popular dual-cab utes open at $34,790 drive-away for the XT manual in 4x2, saving about $8500, and the 4x4 variant that is now $37,490, saving close to $10,000.

If you have plenty of spare cash and like the finer things in ute life, the top-line Boss in 4x4 dual-cab with automatic transmission is now $53,990 drive away, saving close to $12,000. Prices are for ABN holders but private buyers still get a great deal, paying only about $1000 more.

Isuzu D-Max

The LS-T dual-cab ute in 4x2 and with high-riding suspension is available as an automatic for $43,990.

Like the Mazda, the Isuzu D-Max is on run-out in the lead-up to an all new model due later this year, meaning savings will stretch into five-figure territory.

You can save a monstrous $11,251 on the LS-M dual-cab 4x4 automatic version, now $43,990 drive-away and equivalent to a huge 20.4 per cent slice off the original price. The manual version of the same ute gets a bigger 20.7 per cent chop, down $10,933 to $41,990 drive-away.

For grey nomads, that puts it firmly in affordable caravan towing territory.

Isuzu Ute also has the more upmarket LS-U version in 4x4 with automatic transmission for $47,990 drive-away, a drop of 16.2 per cent or $9274.

For tradies or those who don’t need a 4x4, the LS-T dual-cab ute in 4x2 and with high-riding suspension is available as an automatic for $43,990, a discount of $9592 or 18 per cent.

Mercedes-Benz X-Class

The X250d Progressive is now $60,020 drive-away.

Mercedes-Benz has called quits on its exercise into the ute market. This is the last chance to get a new dual-cab ute with a Mercedes badge and the ability to haul a heavy load in harsh off-road conditions.

It ends production of its X-Class ute range this month but in Australia, the company has already stopped new orders and is selling what it has in stock. It reports that there's a wide selection of ute variants available and has started an aggressive demonstrator sales program along with big deals on new vehicles.

New-vehicle prices include the X250d Progressive now at $60,020 drive-away, normally $62,995 to save $2975. The deal includes a five-year warranty that covers all new utes and demonstrators.

Demonstrator deals vary in price but examples include a X350d Power (2019 build) with the 3.0-litre V6 diesel and now at $66,800 drive-away. The new-ute price is $85,193 drive-away.

There are also some X250d Power utes with 2019 build plates for $56,880 licensed for the road, a saving of about $10,000 on a new equivalent. The demos have a factory five-year warranty and the first three scheduled services are free.

Expect more deals from Mercedes-Benz as the stocks begin to dwindle.
