The Titanium is the top-spec Everest, sitting above the entry-level Ambiente and the mid-spec Trend.
The new 2.0-litre four-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine – 157kW at 3750rpm and 500Nm from 1750rpm-2000rpm – and 10-speed automatic transmission are standard on Titanium.
Standard features include keyless entry, push-button start, reversing camera, rear parking sensors, 'SYNC 3' multimedia (with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), an 8.0-inch colour touchscreen, fabric seat trim, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, and an active noise cancellation system.
'Inter-Urban Autonomous Emergency Braking' (AEB) with 'Pedestrian Detection' and 'Vehicle Detection', is now standard on Titanium.
Keyless entry and push-button start are now standard across the range, and Titanium has Ford’s hands-free power tailgate.
All engines are diesel. All variants have a five-star ANCAP safety rating from testing conducted in 2015. Safety tech includes AEB with vehicle and pedestrian detection, trailer sway control and hill start assist.
Ford Everest Titanium is only available as a 4WD with the twin-turbo engine and 10-speed auto at a cost of $73,990.
