The SX is the entry-grade in the Isuzu D-Max line-up and pricing starts at $32,200 for the Single Cab Chassis 4x2 with the manual gearbox and tops out at $52,200.
The SX grade comes standard with 17-inch steel wheels, automatic halogen headlights, vinyl floor, cloth upholstery, air conditioning, a 7.0-inch media display with digital radio, Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay, plus a four speaker stereo.
The SX comes with a choice of two turbo-diesel engines: a 3.0-litre 140kW/450Nm unit and a 1.9-litre 110kW/350Nm powerplant.
Braked towing capacity with the 3.0-litre engine is 3500kg, while with the 1.9-litre braked towing capacity is 2800kg with the manual gearbox and 3000kg with the auto.
The updated D-Max was given the maximum five-star ANCAP rating in 2022. All come with AEB with turn assistance, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, traffic sign recognition, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, trailer sway control and eight airbags.
