The HSE trim level is the second-highest option in the Land Rover Discovery family, sitting above the S and SE trims, and below only the HSE Luxury option.
At this point, you’re talking serious money, with the pricing stretching from $87,150 to $103,661, depending on whether you opt for five or seven seats, and which of the three available engines you shoot for.
You’ll be adding LED taillights, 20-inch alloys outside, along with winged headrests, woodgrain highlights and ambient interior lighting inside the cabin. Your climate is upgraded to a three-zone system, too, and your stereo is now a better, 10-speaker Meridian unit that’s controlled through a bigger, 10-inch touchscreen.
The HSE received the maximum five-star ANCAP safety rating, thanks to its standard AEB, Lane Departure Warning and reversing camera which join six airbags and the usual suite of traction and braking systems.
