The SP25 GT is the second tier of the sportier side of the Mazda3 line-up, and kicks off at $29,790 for either hatchback or sedan bodies.

The SP25 GT is the second tier of the sportier side of the Mazda3 line-up, and kicks off at $29,790 for either hatchback or sedan variants. It dials up the performance and equipment equation with additions like LED headlights, tail-lights and daytime running lights, as well as a six-way power seat for the driver.

This list price is $4600 more than the regular SP25 beneath it, and the GT adds leather seat trim, power adjustable front seats with heaters, heads up display, overhead sunglasses storage, auto dimming rearview mirror, daytime running lights, Xenon headlights with active beams, LED taillights, heated rearview mirrors, illuminated mirrors in the sunvisors and nine-speaker Bose audio. The trim level above the SP25 GT is the SP25 Astina, which starts $5250 more than the SP25 GT at $35,040.

The SP25 GT also comes with the 138kW/250Nm 2.5-litre petrol four cylinder engine, and is paired with the same six-speed manual and optional six-speed automatic that can be added for an extra $2000.
