It might have a slightly odd name, but we think the CX-3 sTouring is the pick of the range, with plenty of choice and lot of standard equipment over the Maxx at a significant saving from the top-spec Akari.
The sTouring comes in petrol and diesel and a front- and all-wheel drive (although the diesel is AWD-only). The manual sTouring petrol front-wheel drive starts at $26,990, the auto $28,990, all-wheel drive is $30,990 and the diesel all-wheel drive lands at $31,290.
These prices are roughly $4600 more than comparable Maxxes. The six-speaker stereo with MZD Connect remains untouched, so you get sat nav and reversing camera to which you can add the Safety Pack.
The sTouring adds 18-inch alloys, front LED fog lamps and daytime running lights, auto LED headlights, auto wipers, LED taillights, cloth trim with red piping plus red flashes on doors and console, a heads-up display, climate control and keyless entry.
