Mazda 6 2009: Design fault in diesel engine?

There have been reports of problems with the CX-5 and some other Mazda models of fuel contaminating the engine oil through the DPF filter. Mazda claim to have a fix for that problem. I would check with your Mazda dealer so see if your car is one of those affected.

MANY people complained of the same noise on the Mazda3. In that case little could be done to fix it. A change of tyres might make a small difference, but it's an expensive exercise. There's nothing wrong with the Bridgestones. They're good tyres.
