Toyota Yaris GR a special focus for new Gazoo Racing Club to build GR brand as rival to Hyundai's N

Toyota Australia has announced a new initiative, the Gazoo Racing Club, designed to build an enthusiast community around its GR performance brand.

Celebrating Toyota's performance car heritage, as well as highlighting recent arrivals like the GR Yaris and GR Supra, the club's creation marks an even greater focus on more exciting and dynamic Toyota products.

Kicking off in early 2021, the Gazoo Racing Club is open to all comers, offering members access to a range of benefits including exclusive events, drive days and member-only areas at the TGRA 86 Series and Australian Rally Championship.

Members will also be offered unique content and merchandise, as well discounts and club rates from Toyota, its partners and sponsors.

Toyota Australia chief marketing officer John Pappas said the club offers members a deeper dive into Toyota Gazoo Racing and Toyota performance cars.

“Essentially, it's all about celebrating the thrill of driving,” he said.

Registration for the Gazoo Racing Club is open now at toyota.com.au/gazoo-racing/club, with memberships commencing on February 1, 2021.
