Toyota Fortuner 2018 review
Toyota's Fortuner wagon is based on the same platform as the HiLux ute, save for its coil-spring rear suspension. It's taken a price cut for 2018, and has gained a couple of tweaks along the way.

The base-spec LT is the entry point for Trailblazer buyers. Its standard features include 17-inch alloy wheels, a seven-inch touchscreen to go with its Holden MyLink infotainment system, Apple Car Play and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, front fog lamps, signature daytime running lights, side steps, limited slip diff, rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera.
The 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine punches out 147kW at 3600rpm and its big-gun 500Nm at 2000rpm and is well-matched to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Seats are cloth and interior is basic materials all round, but hard wearing.
All Trailblazers have a five-star ANCAP rating.
Good-looking and a solid performer on- and off-road, the Trailblazer makes a strong case for your SUV-buying bucks.
(The LT was, at time of writing, being offered for $45,990 driveway with a seven-year warranty.)
