The Si remains the second trim level in the Kia Carnival range, with the new fourth-generation model kicking off at $52,380 (MSRP) or $55,790 (drive away). This is for the petrol version, with the diesel adding an extra $2000. Opting for the cheaper S will save you $5500, while the next most expensive SLi will cost you an extra $4500.
The Si steps up to 18 inch alloys, plus a big 12.3 inch multimedia screen that only offers corded Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but adds eight speaker audio, three zone climate control, an artificial leather steering wheel and adds front parking sensors.
Like all Carnival trim levels, the Si is available with either a 3.5-litre petrol V6 or a 2.2-litre turbodiesel, with official fuel consumption figures of 9.6L/100km and 6.5L/100km respectively.
