The $26,290 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Premium hatch launched in December 2016 on an all-new platform for the small Japanese brand.
The third-tier 2.0i Premium model sits above the 2.0i at $22,400 and the 2.0i-L at $24,490, and below the 2.0i-S at $28,990.
The 2.0i Premium gets dual zone air, Subaru’s EyeSight camera-operated safety system with auto emergency braking (AEB), pedestrian avoidance and advanced radar cruise control, a sunroof and satellite navigation.
Built in Japan, the Impreza uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder horizontally opposed (or boxer) engine that makes 115kW at 6000rpm and 196Nm at 4000rpm. It’s mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
