Holden Commodore 2004: Why won't it start properly?
I suspect it's not actually firing when you first start it, and it's the computer shutting it down when you try again. It could be that when you take the key out and go through your locking and unlocking procedure you are in effect rebooting the computer. It could be a problem with the computer.
2004 VZ Commodore power struggle
It doesn't seem to be a major problem, so it could be that it needs a tune-up. Perhaps fit new spark plugs, clean the throttle body and the injectors.
Holden Commodore: Misfiring when towing
It sounds like an electrical problem, but being intermittent it can be hard to trace, as you have discovered. I would be checking the crank angle sensor and its connections.
Holden Commodore LPG conversion
Yes, there's no problem in converting the VYII V6 to LPG. Use a quality injection system and you shouldn't have any trouble.
Holden Commodore 2004: Does it have a separate transmission oil cooler?
The VY oil cooler is in the radiator and is generally trouble free, but the guys at AW Automatics recommend an external cooler for all towing applications.
