The SS-V Redline sportwagon is rated to tow 2100 kg (braked), so it would be very close to its maximum limit. While it should handle the mass I would be looking to something with a higher towing rating for what you want to do. That could be a 4WD SUV or a one-tonne ute.

It's hard to suggest what might be wrong without seeing the car, so I suggest the best thing is to have an LPG specialist look at it. Give the people at Impco a call on 03 8788 1000 and ask them to check the car for you.

The oil consumption is way too high. The engine should be pulled down to find the cause, and I would suspect that it is related to the problem you previously had with the engine.

Turning it off and on again reboots the computer, so it could be a fault with the computer or one of the sensors feeding information to it. Have a mechanic check the system for faults.
