Isuzu has slashed prices for its MU-X seven-seater, offering the base variant from just $40,990 drive-away.

The seven-seat SUV segment is as competitive as ever, and its little wonder.

The three-row high-rider offers all the practicality of a less-than-cool people mover, but also the high ride height and great visibility of an SUV. Indeed, the seven-seater is now the choice of many Australian families.

With end of financial year (EOFY) sales now in full swing. there's a bunch of great deals to be found. Here's some of the best seven-seat SUV offers available today.

Mazda is offering its popular CX-9 Sport seven-seater from $45,990 drive-away, saving customers a significant sum in registration costs.

For perspective, the same CX-9 Sport variant is usually priced from $45,920 plus on-road costs.

The front-wheel-drive CX-9 Sport comes well equipped, with comforts like three-zone climate control, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity and radar cruise control all fitted from standard.

All Mazda CX-9 variants are powered by a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, matched with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Seven-seat SUV buyers looking for a higher level of specification may take advantage of Mazda's CX-8 EOFY deals.

Mazda is currently promoting its top-spec Asaki from $65,840 drive-away, while it is usually priced from $65,440 before on-road costs.

The all-wheel-drive CX-8 Asaki uses a 2.2-litre twin-turbo diesel engine, and comes packed with features like a surround-view monitor, 7.0-inch driver display, adaptive LED headlights, unique 19-inch wheels and Nappa leather trim.

Toyota Kluger

Toyota has slashed thousands of dollars off one of its Kluger seven-seat SUVs, dropping the price of the front-wheel-drive GX from $48,850 plus on-road costs, down to $41,990 drive-away.

Other EOFY Kluger offers include the GX AWD ($45,990 d/a), GXL 2WD ($52,990 d/a), GXL AWD ($56,990 d/a) and the Grande ($62,990 d/a).

The Kluger boasts a five-star ANCAP safety rating, with a number of standard driver-assistance tech included from Toyota's Safety Sense package.

Power comes from a 3.5-litre V6, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Hyundai Santa Fe

Hyundai is advertising a $1500 EOFY bonus on its Santa Fe Active, with a drive-away price of $44,930. There's potential here to save a few hundred dollars, as this variant is usually priced from $43,550 plus on-road costs.

The Sante Fe Active uses a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine, sending power to the front wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Key specifications include a 7.0-inch multimedia display with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, park assist, leather interior touches and a 3.5-inch TFT instrument cluster.

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport

Mitsubishi is also offering a $1500 cash back deal on its Pajero Sport GLS seven-seater, priced from $53,990 drive-away until June 30.

The four-wheel-drive GLS is usually priced from $51,490 plus on-road costs.

Mitsubishi has also backed up the Pajero Sport with a seven-year/150,000km warranty, as well as four years of roadside assistance.

Isuzu MU-X

Isuzu has heavily discounted its MU-X range, with the base LS-M variant priced from $40,990 drive-away, compared to its regular $43,900 plus on-road costs pricetag.

EOFY Isuzu deals also extend to the MU-X LS-M 4x4 ($46,990 d/a), LS-T 4x2 ($47,990 d/a), LS-U 4x4 ($50,990 d/a), and the LS-T 4x4 ($54,990 d/a).

Furthermore, the MU-X offerings include a six-year warranty and roadside assistance package, and seven years of capped price servicing.
