Second from the top of the range, the GT is equipped with the 'SkyActiv' 2.5-litre four-cylinder with 138kW and 250Nm. Power reaches the road via a six-speed auto or six-speed manual. Prices start at $29,990 for the manual and $31,990 for the automatic.
The SP25 GT scores 18-inch alloy wheels, six-speaker stereo with DAB, Bluetooth and USB, dual-zone climate control, auto wipers and headlights, adaptive LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, electronic park brake, rear parking sensors, keyless entry and start, leather seats, cruise control, gear-shift paddles (auto), sat nav, keyless entry and start, leather seats and steering wheel, heated folding mirrors, reversing camera and a space-saver spare.
Mazda's 'MZD Connect' looks after the entertainment and sat nav with a 7.0-inch touchscreen and rotary-dial controlled system, but it's still missing Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
