As before, the Atenza tops the 6 range, and it will cost you between $47,690 and $50,090. The Atenza is available in both sedan and wagon, and with the 170kW/420Nm turbo petrol or 140kW/450Nm twin-turbo diesel.
The Atenza sports 19-inch alloys, adaptive LED headlights, white or walnut Nappa leather seats with suede inserts, wood trim, power heated and folding mirrors, power windows, electric seats, 11 Bose-branded speakers, auto headlights and wipers, dual-zone climate control, leather steering wheel and gear shifter, sat nav, keyless entry and start, head up display, active cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, around-view camera and a space-saver spare.
Mazda's reputation for loading up with safety gear remains undimmed with the new 6. It has six airbags, ABS, stability and traction controls, high beam control, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, radar cruise control, forward and reversing AEB, reverse cross-traffic alert, reversing camera and traffic sign recognition.
